I have a background in personnel management and career advising. I have always been interested in people and there development. From this angle I came into spirituality and have concentrated on ‘giving meaning’ and consciousness. After my first visit to England and my introduction to the Celtic nature religions and traditions, I began to follow the course, The Back Ground of Nature Magic, in Glastonbury. Nature is all around us and in our presence. Her presence has an influence on our activities and surroundings. If you consciously learn to tune into this, you can create a better balance in your life. Every part of nature shines out a certain energy: from a tree to a stone, from the moon to a planet. Nature Magic teaches you to work with these energies; you learn to develop intimate relations with the natural world and her elements: water, fire, earth, air and ether. By working with the powers of nature, you can, with the right intension, set all types of things in motion, which can contribute to a better balance within yourself and in your surroundings.

After my training was completed, I began teaching this myself in The Netherlands. Together with a friend I founded a foundation to promote feminine spirituality and values. We even set up a unique temple, the goddess temple, where we follow the yearly celebrations set down by the Celtic Circle (website: [[1]]). It’s of course understandable, that mainly women are attracted to these celebrations, but happily more and more men are involved with integrating the feminine traits, which everyone has within. Feminine traits lie more in the area of feeling, care and love. Things which are really need, in our present day, hard society. There isn’t of course anything wrong with masculine values, but unfortunately they have grown out of proportion and so the world has become unbalanced.

Over the past years since 2002, I have written articles about consciousness and personal development. These articles were published in the spiritual magazines, Spiegelbeeld, Paravision and Elf Fantasy. I’m so involved with mystical subjects, because there’s so much to discover in them, for example the unanswered questions of life and death. I strive for a more energy based approach to life, from myself and everyone and that we can learn how to get on with this well. I strive also for a better world, a world without fear, I really enjoy engaging with like minded people who are willing to stick their neck out for others. That is why I have set up a magzine on internet to write about inspirational people and events. The magazine is called INSPIRENTION. For more information see this website.

A big hobby of mine lies in the area of musical expression: music! I sing jazz and blues and I have written my own texts for modern Celtic pieces, shown in the c.d., We take you to Avalon, by the band, Band of Unseen’.

Besides this I work with Crystal Singing Bowls. The sound which flows from the bowls offers so much harmony, that you defiantly become happy from them. Music is healing, I couldn’t imagine a world without it. I find creative expression, what ever the form, necessary for a healthy balance.

Besides these forms I also receive balance from my two children: Amber and Key, wonderful teenagers who as far as I’m concerned, deserve the best the world can offer. This goes without saying of course, for all children, that’s why it’s so important that we all take a moment to stand still and feel what is required to make the correct priorities. That is my INSPIRATION!
