The Magic of Avalon
When you think of Avalon, you think of magic and mystery, the legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, the mists of Avalon or the Goddess who is honoured there. It is also possible that Avalon doesn’t mean anything to you, but that you have a feeling of recognition. Avalon is a name which has an enormous attractive power for many people around the world. Why? What is the connection that so many feel for Avalon? What is Avalon? Does Avalon exist or is it just in our imagination? What is the magic which evidently beams out for so many people?
In 2002 I went to the small town of Glastonbury, situated in the south west of England. The sign post read, ‘The Isle of Avalon’, as I drove into Glastonbury it was a celebration of familiarity and a wonderful feeling of coming home: I have been here before and this is where I want to. Since this time, many people have come on my path that have visited Glastonbury and felt the same as me. Even if they haven’t visited, they have the feeling that they need to be there. Since that first visit I have designed my life in such a way that Glastonbury is an integrated part, by following a training course there and by visiting with small groups.
Together with my close friend Sandra, who introduced me to Glastonbury, I created a foundation to promote the inheritance of the Celtic nature religion and especially to promote the Goddess, the symbol which stands for the feminine aspects within us. The first Goddess temple in The Netherlands exists now and even though Sandra and I have gone our separate ways we stay connected as striders for the reintegration of the feminine in our self an in society. In 2008, on October 31, my first book came out, called: The Magic of Avalon, which will be coming out in English as well. I have written articles and songs about Avalon and mother nature and I dive often into books on this subject to keep discovering, so that I can discover more about myself. The one is irremovably linked with the other. The magic of Avalon bring out the magic within me.

It is also possible that Avalon doesn’t mean anything to you, but that you have a feeling of recognition. Avalon is a name which has an enormous attractive power for many people around the world. Why? What is the connection that so many feel for Avalon? What is Avalon? Does Avalon exist or is it just in our imagination? What is the magic which evidently beams out for so many people?
Experience the magic of Avalon We invite you to experience the magic of Avalon for yourself and to come with us to the south west of England, where we will follow the legends and visit power places of Avalon. We will take you to Glastonbury, a spiritual place of pilgrimage, also called The Isle of Avalon. There you will climb the Tor, a natural hill with an amazing vortex energy and also entrance to the land of the fairies and the underworld, where according to Legends, King Arthur is resting until he returns. We will visit the ruins of the abbey, once the religious centre of England, where once the graves of Arthur and Guinevere were discovered, or so it is claimed.
Spring EquinoxWe will also be participating in ceremonies, as it is the time of the Spring Equinox which starts around the 21st of March when day and night are in balance. The time to blow the seeds of your intentions into the air and to renew yourself. This Is the time to look within ourselves and outside ourselves, to see if we have balance in receiving en giving. The Spring equinox is represented by the Goddess of Light, the Spring Maiden who brings fertility in springtime. The ceremonies take place in Glastonbury: in the Goddess temple and in the beautiful peace garden of the Chalice Well.
Cornwall and Tintagel After a few days of Glastonbury we will drive to beautiful Cornwall where we will visit Tintagel castle, which is the birthplace of Arthur according to legends. The ruins of Tintagel are located on top the high cliffs and the views are stunning. Down at the beach, there is the Merlin cave, which you can only visit when the tide is low. We will take walks along the beautiful cliff sides and feel the winds of time. Cornwall not only offers cliffs and beach, but also rugged land in Dartmoor and Exmoor where we will explore the rocks and their strange formations.
Avebury and Stonehenge Circles After having centered again in Glastonbury, we will then visit the largest stone circle of Europe in Avebury. Avebury is located in Wiltshire and this is the area where most of the crop circles are found. Usually they start to appear around the beginning of April, but with the right intention we might be able to visit one when we are there. Near Avebury there is the man made hill of Silbury and an ancient burial mount, called West Kenneth Long Barrow. We will stay in this area and have a chance for a final visit to Stonehenge on our way back to the airport in London.
This journey can be your personal quest to your holy grail. We will take time and give you time to go within yourself and contact your soul. This is not your average tourist program, so be prepared to follow your intuition and open up to magical encounters. Details of the itinerary will follow soon. Details: The costs of this journey are 1.000 euro p.p. and it includes the accommodation in hotel of B&B, breakfast, transport by bus or car, the program and travel guides, entrance to mentioned sites and places, ceremonies and a workshop by a shaman or druid. It does not include your return airfare.

Inspirention
The magazine INSPIRENTION, is an e-magazine for inspiration and consciousness: [[2]]. It gives practical information about the powerful energies we have within and around us.
Inspirention is taken from two words: inspiration and intention. It implies that from inspiration you can get insights, which may be then converted into intention. And furthermore, by voicing this intent, this gives the possibility of creating what is necessary to make life more pleasant. Everyone has something which he or she dreams of, or a heart wish, but not everyone allows the wish to be fulfilled. This can be because of negative thought patterns, little self confidence, or in what the universe has to offer. To work with intention you must be convinced that there is abundance in the universe and that you are worthy to share in it. The universe is alive: it exists just like us, from small particles which are continuously moving. This movement is called vibration and if you can learn how to tune into it, then everything is possible! It’s actually very simple: you ask and the universe answers. The only thing is: are you capable of receiving it?
Nature Magic
What down the age’s common knowledge was in nature magic is now proven by scientists: EVERYTHING IS ENERGY! The following vision determines working with the powers of nature: the universe is a large living energy form, also known as the Grand Mother. The earth, the moon, the sun, the planets, the furthest stars in the universe are apart of a system,a huge energetic body.This body is the body of the Grand Mother: the one who is capable of creating life and shape energy in various forms. Forms from mountain ranges to animals, from music to working in the garden, also the ideas people have, to the wind which blows through the trees.
In nature magic, we believe that everything which has a solid shape also has an etheric dimension. All of these etheric dimensions are connected with invisible cords. This web is in continuous motion through life and death. The etheric cords never disappear, they only change in energy. These energetic dimensions are also called auras. In nature magic you may learn to perceive them with the use of your so called ‘sixth sense’. Everyone has a sixth sense, everyone can be a magician. When you learn how to use the energetic powers within and around yourself, then you are already stepping on the path of magic.
The following is something we should be conscience about: everything which you do, think or say, has an influence on you and your surrounding and visa versa. My vision for the future of society is, with this consciousness we have the ability to make this world a better place to live in.
In the Netherlands I give courses and workshops about Nature Magic and how to apply this in everyday life. In the nearby future, these workshops will also be given in Glastonbury.
Expression and Sound
Expression and sound are very important to experience optimally the energy we have within: sound is nothing more than vibration that we can absorb. Vibration can have a healing effect when they are in harmony. The famous Japanese researcher Emoto, has proven this with his water experiments. Emoto exposed water to different types of music. With loving classical sounds, the water made wonderful crystals. With hard rock sounds, the water became stressed and showed chaos. We are made up of 70% water, so you can imagine what happens when we are exposed to negative vibration.
Singing
I’ve been singing since I was twenty five years old, during which I’ve sung as a jazz singer and have also written my own songs attuned to the energy of Avalon. Together with another musician, I established the band ‘The Band of Unseen’. The name points to the unseen energy of Avalon: Avalon behind the vale. I still sing jazz and am presently working on a compilation from the Billy Holiday collection. Billy Holiday is for me someone who interprets songs with her heart and soul and therefore moves people. I haven’t had her intense dramatic life experiences, but I try from my heart to sing her texts and do this in my own way.
Crystal Singing Bowls
In Glastonbury I came in contact with the sound of Crystal Singing Bowls and was immediately hooked. The sounds were extremely intense and appeared to go straight through every cell of my body. Crystal is an extremely pure material which brings harmony and balance. It is exceptionally suited for healing and meditation purposes and a concert with Crystal Singing Bowls is not to be missed. I have now obtained some bowls myself and give Crystal Singing Bowl concerts. Please check the Agenda for concert dates.
Articles
After my first encounter with Glastonbury it was as if the creative source in me was opened. I felt a strong urge to write about Glastonbury and to my pleasant surprise the article was published in ‘Spiegelbeeld’, a magazine for personal development and consciousness. Since this time I’ve written a number of articles, among which for the magazines, ‘Paravisie’ and Elf Family Magazine’. My articles cover various subjects in the field of consciousness and personal growth. The articles are written based on my own vision of how things are. My wish of course is to encourage others to reflect or to help them make choices in their lives, which they’ve always wanted to make. During the process of making this website I have decided to begin an E-magazine. A magazine for inspiration, intension and consciousness.

A purpose for life foundation
